MhUD

It has come to my attention that the overseers of MhUD will be conducting an extended inspection of our habitat. The MhUD branch (Monkey Housing Urban Development) of the government is known for its strict adherence to fair labor laws and fair housing laws as well as its enforcement of building codes. As it is, the MLF has notified U.N. Abogado Mono regarding what it feels is an obvious lack of concern for simian welfare because several of its members are being forced to live in an overpopulated high density residential dwelling. Furthermore, as the spokesmonkey for the MLF, I am very concerned about the impact this overpopulation will have on our current banana supply. I mean if you include the rising cost of fuel in the price of an average sized shipment of bananas, who will be able to afford bananas, our most basic need?

But alas, I have drifted away from the purpose of this posting. Back to MhUD, the chiefs of MhUD will be on-site for the next 10 days. Although they say the purpose of their visit is to play with their granddaughter, I truly believe that they will be conducting a covert "white glove" inspection of our quarters. If this is the case, we are doomed! The human inhabitants of our habitat are far behind in their domestic duties. I see dust and dustbunnies everywhere. How can they possibly bring our home up minimal standards in just 2 days? Certainly, they can't expect the MLF to do all the work. We have more important business to attend to like the business of protecting our boundaries from encroaching bear populations (led by none other than the infamous Grub Bear). Moreover, I also have to repay a technical support debt (read banana depletion).

Ah, so many bananas, so little time. Now, where did I hide (I mean, store) those twinkies?
